Jasmine Pottery Studio

"Hello! I'm Naomi Jasmine and I started my journey with clay when studying Design Crafts and DeMontfort University. After graduating I moved back home to Yorkshire and continued my craft in a shared studio space whilst working as teaching assistant with students with additional needs. I fell in love with the role of teaching and wanted to find a way to bring together my two passions, clay and education. I then found myself in my perfect job a community artist and tutor. I eventually set up my own space 'Jasmine Pottery Studios' in 2019 a place to teach workshops and create my own ceramics. Soon after opening I fell pregnant and my beautiful son was born on 01/01/2020. Just as I planned to reopen, COVID happened and we had to temporarily close our studio doors..again. During lockdown my partner was made redundant and he decided to join me and help to grow the family business. Both myself and my partner Pepe are qualified teachers and we wanted to help bring the joy of clay and pottery to everyone to enjoy at home, that's when our clay at home kits were born. Our little family have tried tested and taught lots of clay activities and pottery products and we have carefully selected the best for you to enjoy in your kit. We hope our kits bring the joy of pottery into your home."
