"After owning a cabinet door shop for several years, I decided to start another business venture. I was often dismayed at the sheer amount of wood that was going to waste in making cabinets and doors, I instead chose to make picture frames which waste almost no wood. Our niche has always been small square frames with 1" molding. With frame sizes that are often hard to find, we were the first business in the USA to make a 4x4 instagram picture frame. However we have now branched out into more frame styles and moldings and even added board games to our shop. We are now in our eleventh year of building picture frames and what started out as a one man show has now grown into a family business with my son and daughter working alongside me. Our frames are made with solid alder wood and do every step of the process ourselves from start to finish, from making the molding to spraying the finishes and shipping all of our products from our home in rural Idaho. I know customers have a lot of choices when it comes to buying frames however as a carpenter, I believe that other frames, often made with synthetic foam cannot compete with the simplistic beauty of natural wood."
